A Puerto Rican judge has issued an arrest warrant against singer Ricky Martin. The order was signed Friday (1/7) local time.
Puerto Rico police spokesman Axel Valencia said authorities visited Ricky Martin's residence in the northern coastal city of Dorado to arrest the musician. However, until now the whereabouts of the singer of Livin' La Vida Loca is unknown.
"Until now, the police have not been able to find him," said Valencia, quoted by The Associated Press (AP), Sunday (3/7).
A spokesman for Martin also did not immediately return a request for comment on the detention. It is not yet known who requested the detention order.
Furthermore, Valencia said that the order prohibited Ricky Martin from contacting or calling the person concerned.
